Delivery & Returns
Order Confirmation
Upon placing your order, we'll initiate a pre-authorisation on your card, but rest assured, no charges will be made at this point. Our next step is to liaise with our supplier to ensure the product you've selected is ready for immediate dispatch. Once we receive confirmation, we'll proceed with the payment and your order will be on its way to you. In the event of any delay, such as a backordered item, we will immediately void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you with an update.
Delivery of Your Order
Upon receipt of your order, we will promptly verify the availability of the item(s) in our inventory. Once confirmed, we will process your payment and prepare your order for dispatch.
Should your item be delivered via courier, rest assured that we will provide you with tracking details via email within 24 hours of dispatch. Please note that the dispatch process may vary depending on the specific item or supplier, but we will keep you updated every step of the way.

Policy for Refunds and Returns
Should you wish to exchange your product, we are more than happy to accommodate. Please note that any shipping costs incurred during the returns and exchange process will be the responsibility of the customer.
We offer a full refund for all orders that are returned unopened and in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. For items that have been opened, a restocking fee will be applied in addition to the shipping charge. This fee typically amounts to 20% of the total cost, but the exact amount will be confirmed upon receipt of the returned product at our warehouse.
In the event of a product exchange, we may be able to assist with some of the costs, depending on the product in question. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and appreciate your understanding.
Acknowledgement of Exchange Agreement
By proceeding with a purchase from Planet & Child, you are confirming your understanding and acceptance of the following terms:
- Upon delivery, you agree to inspect the package and document any damage with notes and photographs, which should be provided to Planet & Child within 24 hours of delivery.
- You acknowledge that you will bear the cost of return shipping and the shipping cost of a replacement product in the event of a refund or exchange.
- You understand that products must be returned in their original, unopened condition. If a product has been opened but remains unused, an additional restocking fee may be applied.
- If you choose to return your order after it has been shipped, you accept responsibility for any return shipping fees and restocking fees, which typically amount to around 20% of the product cost.
- You agree not to cancel your order or file a chargeback due to delays or inaccuracies in the estimated delivery time, especially when these are due to factors beyond Planet & Child's control, such as manufacturing and logistical constraints.

Handling Damages
Upon receipt of your item(s), we kindly ask that you thoroughly inspect the packaging. If you observe any damage, please document it when signing for delivery.
In the unfortunate event that your item(s) arrive damaged, we request that you promptly send photos of the damage, the box, and the SKU to info@planetandchild.com, accompanied by a brief description of the damage. This will enable us to file an insurance claim on your behalf.
Please note that photos and videos documenting the freight damage must be sent within 24 hours of the item’s arrival for the freight damage claim to be valid. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must also be reported within this 24-hour window.
